Do you feel like no matter how much you support
your child, they still struggle with self-doubt & get easily overwhelmed... and you're not sure what else to do?
Maybe you're...
-
A loving and engaged parent who just wants the best for your child
-
Always looking out for your child and wanting to support them through difficult transitions
-
Finding your heart breaks when you see them struggling with self-doubt and emotional pain
-
Worried that you don't know how to help or that you're failing your child and you've tried everything

You're doing your best to support them through it all.
You show up for your child every day, and that alone says so much about the kind of parent you are. You've been there through scraped knees, first days of school, sleepless nights and silly giggles. You know your child better than anyone else and see their potential, creativity and kindness. But sometimes, you notice signs that something isn't quite right. Maybe your child has started to withdrawal or is having emotional outbursts that you don't know how to respond to. And yet, despite all your efforts (maybe you've even spent countless nights Googling for solutions), you still worry you're missing something. You wonder if you're equipped to handle their emotional struggles, you might find yourself second-guessing your every decision and think, "Am I making this worse?" or "Why can't I figure this out?".
The truth is, you're not alone and needing support doesn't make you less of a parent...it makes you human. Kids don't come with manuals and every child is different and so are their emotional needs. What matters most is your willingness to show up, ready to do whatever it takes to support your child. And sometimes, part of supporting them means reaching out for support from professionals who specialize in working with child's emotional and behavioral health...and that's where play therapy in Knoxville can help.

How Play Therapy in Knoxville Can Make a Difference
Children don't always have the language to express what they're feeling but they do have the ability to communicate through play. Play therapy in Knoxville provides a research-based therapeutic approach that uses play, which is the natural language of children, to help them explore and express their emotions, process difficult experiences, develop coping strategies & gain the emotional tools they need to face life's challenges with resilience.
As a parent, you might be wondering how play therapy works or what makes it different from playtime your child already enjoys. Unlike regular playtime, play therapy in Knoxville is guided by a trained therapist who engages with your child in specific types of play that are designed to address their unique emotional needs. Whether it's role-playing, using toys, creating art, interacting with natural objects, or telling stories, these activities allow your child to express themselves freely and safely.
Play therapy in Knoxville can help your child understand themselves better, feel more okay with who they are and learn how to navigate challenges in healthy, effective ways all while playing in a space where they feel completely accepted & understood.

As a therapist who specializes in working with children,
I understand the unique challenges that come with helping a child who is struggling emotionally. My goal is to help your child feel deeply seen & validated just as they are. I provide a compassionate & nurturing space where your child can safely explore their emotions, learn to trust themselves and learn to navigate the world in ways that are both healthy and true to who they are through play therapy in Knoxville.
If you're a compassionate (and maybe concerned, at this point), parent who feels stuck or uncertain about how to support your child through their current stressors and challenges, I extend a warm invitation to reach out for play therapy in Knoxville.
What is Compassionate Parenting?
Remember, you don't have to navigate this journey alone. Seeking help and guidance through play therapy in Knoxville does not make you a flawed parent; it showcases your compassion, strength and unwavering love for your child.

Why Blossom & Brush | Child Counseling Studio?
The name Blossom & Brush | Child Counseling Studio reflects the growth, creativity and healing I support children through in therapy.
"Blossom" speaks to the gentle unfolding that happens when a child feels safe, seen & understood. It also reflects the nature-based elements woven into sessions to support grounding, presence & connection with the world around them.
"Brush" evokes the image of a paintbrush, symbolizing the creative ways children express themselves through art, play & imagination. It reflects how they learn to move through life with more clarity, resilience and growing self-trust...eventually painting a path that is healthy, authentic and uniquely theirs.
My goal is to create a safe and inviting space for children to Blossom & Brush, fostering their inner resilience and self-acceptance and helping them navigate life's challenges with empowerment and a stronger sense of who they are through play therapy in Knoxville.
